NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS, USERS AND PARTNERS FRAUDULENT CYBERSQUATTING ACTIVITIES AND UNAUTHORIZED USE OF CORPORATE IDENTITY

TRANS ITALIA S.p.A. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) informs that, as of today, it has identified cases of cybersquatting involving the unauthorized registration and unlawful use of domain names containing the designation “Trans Italia” or similar names, including, in particular, the domain “trans-italia.it”.This domain was registered and used without any authorization from the Company, for speculative, misleading and potentially fraudulent purposes towards customers and web users.Such conduct, carried out by individuals with no connection to our organization, constitutes a serious violation of industrial property rights and professional fairness, as well as potential instances of identity theft and unlawful exploitation of the Company’s corporate identity.The Company has also detected cases of identity abuse involving its employees and collaborators, through the unauthorized use of names, job titles, and email addresses attributable to the Company, aimed at deceiving business contacts and third parties and unlawfully gaining their trust.The Company is entirely unrelated to these initiatives and firmly denounces their fraudulent nature.To protect its reputation and rights, the Company has already reported the matter to the competent Authorities and the domain registration bodies involved, and has initiated legal actions to remove and disable the fraudulent websites and to prevent any further unlawful conduct.Anyone receiving communications or contacts from domains other than the officially recognized ones — [“transitalia.it”, “transitalia.com”, or “transitalia.eu”] — is strongly advised not to provide any personal data, corporate information, or payment details, and to promptly report the incident to us.We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or confusion that such fraudulent activities may have caused to our customers, partners, and users, and assure that the Company is taking every possible measure to safeguard its stakeholders and ensure the transparency of all corporate communications.
